Mark B. Stanley and Breon Walker Offord Make the 2026 Super Lawyers List
Recognition that comes from your own peers carries a particular kind of weight. It is one thing to tell people you are good at what you do. Mark B. Stanley
Mark’s path to the courtroom started on a baseball diamond. A Columbia native, he captained a University of South Carolina team that reached three straight College World Series before earning his business degree, then went on to complete dual Master’s degrees in Business Administration and Information Science. He found his way to law at Florida A&M University College of Law and cut his teeth trying personal injury cases to verdict in Orlando.
That trial experience has shaped how he approaches every client. Over the years he has been named a Top 10 Under 40 Personal Injury Lawyer, a Legal Elite by Columbia Business Monthly, and a Super Lawyers Rising Star. Licensed in both South Carolina and Florida, Mark brings a competitor’s discipline and a businessman’s clarity to the cases he handles.
Breon Walker Offord
Breon has spent 15 years building a reputation as a formidable trial lawyer. A graduate of the University of South Carolina Honors College and Emory University School of Law, where she earned the Custer Tuggle Award for Excellence in Family Law, she began her career clerking for a circuit court judge and later served in both the civil and criminal divisions of the South Carolina Office of the Attorney General.
Her record speaks for itself. She has been recognized by Super Lawyers since 2020, was previously a Rising Star for nearly a decade, and has been honored as one of the National Bar Association’s 40 Lawyers Under 40 and a South Carolina Leadership in Law honoree. She currently serves as President of the South Carolina Black Lawyers’ Association. Her practice centers on wrongful death, automobile and trucking collisions, motorcycle accidents, premises liability, and products liability claims.
